Diva Bitch

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not but my almost 8 month year old thinks she is oh...I don't know.....14 already!!!  She totally has a mind of her own and is already giving her father and I a run for our money!!  And yes...I do know that this is only the beginning but she's my first so it's all so new...and scary....but fun!!!
This girl is fast, strong and determined!!!  Changing her diaper and clothes now is like trying to contain a psychotic cat that has severe anxiety issues.  It's fricken impossible!  It takes the two of us to do it quickly, we've actually begun to master putting diapers on her while she is laying on her stomach and writhing around like a crazy lady!!!  It takes a special and talented person to do these things!!!  And yes, I do realize that it's sorta sad that it takes the two of us to tame a little person but shes got some serious muscle and can totally take us out!!!
I should also realize by now that it's pointless to buy her toys.....she doesn't want that shit....she wants our cell phones, the laptop, our keys, paper, napkins, you name it she wants it and she wants it in her mouth and if you take it away from her....God help you and the wrath that you will receive!!  You better have something better REAL fast to give her in exchange!

I really am amazed though the new things that she does on a daily basis!!  It's the most amazing thing to watch your baby grow and watch her diva bitch personality develop!!!  Justin is soooo happy that she is so much like her mama (sense the sarcasm!!!)
Oh and P.S.  Pretty sure she is saying Mama!!!  I at least hear it!!!  Maybe I'm crazy!  Wait...I am crazy...oh well...she likes me the best!!!!

  2. It's crazy how soon they develop their own personalities!! My oldest is the biggest drama queen I've ever met. This was such a cute post!! Have fun with your diva, I like to tell myself that if they are crazy hard in the beginning, when they become teenagers they will be angels, lol, yes you can call me a dreamer! :)

  5. Awwww.....when my older boy was about two...we had to hold him down like crazy boy to get a haircut....he is very stubborn til this day, so they really do not change much, they just mature....my younger boy is a mini me....my poor husband, he laughs, because sometimes I can't even hold an argument to Jack. It's all fun Nikki, and trying at the same time....she will be 14 before you know it!

  7. So true. Mine are 3 and 5 so that's like 15 and 17 and they are total pay back. Damn my Mom! She always said, I can't wait til you have a little girl and they are JUST LIKE YOU!! Yeah, that old broad has been praying about it for the last 20 years and I got 2!! jeez! Way to go Mom! If they are double of me...I plan on leaving the country the moment they hit puberty. Well, where would that leave them? My husband already said he's out when they hit the teens. Maybe I'll send them to live with Grandma...that would be poetic justice for wishing bad behavior on me:)

  9. It just gets worse with them wanting to take over your technology...just wait! My son started early wanting the phone, the remote, etc. Now he has completely taken over the Mac, and much to my husband's dismay, the Ipad. I don't want to know what is next!

  10. oh man! heres a good one to wait for to... wait till they get mad and wont let you buckle them in the car seat and their whole body does this stiff-as-a-board thing, then they hit you in the face while your trying to reach over them and grab the seat belt....good times

  11. Oh gooness! Lately, we have just started picking up our son & one of us holds him while the other puts the diaper on...which can be dangerous but it beats him running off!

And to the commenter Jessica: Those are really good times aren't they?!
