The Month before 1

Just so you know Miss Mees....mama is kinda (a lot) sad about writing this post.  This is your last monthly post before you turn the big ONE and I'm a little emotional about it.  I guess I will get over it....only because I have no control on this whole stopping time thing.  I swear to shit though....I'm going to find a way!

* I've said in previous posts that you are my little diva girl.....seriously though....this month you have shown us that divaness in true Mia fashion.  Half the time you are a complete asshole and scream because we've taken something away from you that you can't have and half the time you are such a ham bone that there is no way that we could ever be mat at you.  And just so you know....when I say scream I mean throw mini temper tantrums and pour on the waterworks.  It's actually quite funny because it's so ridiculously fake!
* You want to walk so badly.  You are a master at scaling the furniture and you think you are pretty hot shit because you can totally stand by yourself and are actually quite good at balancing.  It's hard to imagine that any day you could be our walking little midget!

* You are so curious about everyone and everything.  You are little miss nosey rosey that needs to know what's going on at all times!
* You still get so excited when you see Carter and Ella.  The three of you are going to be a handful.  All three of you are already fighting for the attention.  We all think it's pretty funny....I'm sure you all don't!
* You are ATTACHED TO MY ASS.  We are going through the "I need my mommy at all times stage". I know that there will come a day that I will always want you attached to my ass but I seriously can't even pee without you freakin out that I've left you for all time! 

*  You are starting to use more sounds and say more "words":  Mama, Dada, Uh Oh, and your little jibberish has gotten more excessive and a whole lot cuter!  You wave bye bye, clap your hands....all the time, roll your tongue, spit.....or I should say drool all your water, food, whatever it is that you have in your mouth, all over the place.  You think it's funny....me not so much when it all ends up in my face!
* You are obsessed with opening and closing things and putting things into things.  You love your new little kitchen set that daddy and I got you.
* You still LOVE to "talk" on the phone.  Now you will hold just about anything up to your ear and start having a "conversation" with whoever!

*  You decided that you were pretty smart the other day and figured out how to crawl your little self right up and out of your walker.  You were just hanging out on top of the tray.  We were right there and watched you do the whole thing.  Not going to be using that thing much anymore!
* You are becoming leary of "strangers".  The only men that you will go to is Dad, Grandpa's, Uncle Joe and Uncle Jake.  Otherwise you are pretty shy and not too sure.
* You are still very much the little dancer!  You love music and have a very eclectic taste! 

* You have the most contagious laugh and I just want to squeeze you! 
*  You love to take showers.  If me or dad are in the shower and you are not....well....it's not ok.  Remember that whole diva thing that I was talking about.....yeah...that monster comes out!  You are a total water baby!
*  You are getting a little picky with your eating and I was a little concerned but the doctor said when you want to eat you will.  And pretty much you are a bottle baby.  Which frightens me a little because it's going to be a bitch getting you off that thing.

*  You like to be like the big peeps and you sit and brush your teeth with us in the morning.  Or at night when we have to brush the blue crayon out of your teeth because you thought it was a good idea to chew on your cousin's stuff!
*  You love playing "hide and seek".  It cracks you up but mommy's ass is getting too big to fit between the couch and the ottoman....we are going to have to find a new place soon.
*  Your blankie is your world!!!  That's all I can say about that.  Thank god we have 4 of the same one!!!

It's hard for me to comprehend that in one month you are going to be a whole big one year old.  It makes me sad because you are growing so fast and there isn't anything that I can do about it or slow it down.  But I want you to know that daddy and I couldn't be more proud of you.  You have changed our lives forever in the most wonderful way.  You bring a light to us that was missing.  And just so you know, there are going to be many a tears next month.  Mommy just can't handle this shit!
